Recent Hail and Storm Events in the Greater Houston Area

Greater Houston Storm Damage

May 2nd, 2025

On May 2nd, 2025 hail damage and wind damage swept across Northern Houston, affecting Jersey Village, North Houston, Atascocita, and Kingwood.  The storm brought hailstones ranging from  quarter size to golf ball size and strong damaging winds

May 5th, 2025

On May 5th, 2025 the Greater Houston area was affected by an intense hailstorm. Some of these hailstone were reported up to 2 inches in diameter. The affected areas included; Pearland, Fresno, Iowa Colony, Tomball, Stage Coach, Missouri City, Magnolia, Arcola, Sienna, Rose Hill, and Brenham.

June 9th, 2025

On June 9th, 2025 golf ball sized hail produced from a powerful storm moving through North Houston and reaching from Montgomery to Harris County. The affected communities include; Augusta Pines, Creekside Park, Hufsmith, Tomball, Spring, and The Woodlands. Many homes and businesses in these areas withstood damage to their roofs, siding, and other Elements of their property.
